What are the opening hours of Noor?
Noor is open from Wednesday through Saturday for dinner from 6:30 PM, and on Friday and Saturday afternoons for lunch from 12:00 PM.

Is there a children’s menu?
Noor is an adults-oriented restaurant and is not designed for children. We therefore advise bringing children under the age of twelve only if they will enjoy the full menu and are able to respect the calm atmosphere of other guests. If you would still like to dine with your child, please let us know in advance. Please note that we do not have high chairs or special children’s menus. If your child cannot or does not wish to eat the full menu, we can, in consultation, provide a suitable alternative dish. We kindly ask you to contact us beforehand to discuss the possibilities.
Can the menu be adapted to my dietary requirements?
We do our best to accommodate your dietary requirements and allergies. Read what is possible in our kitchen.
Can Noor do something special for a celebratory occasion I would like to mark?
Noor is the perfect place to celebrate your birthday, anniversary, achievement, or another special milestone. We have created a special celebratory cake to give these moments a little extra sparkle. Below you will find an example of what we have served before.
The cake costs €18 per piece.

TABLE RESERVATION
How can I make a reservation?
In the restaurant, you can reserve online for up to five guests; at the Chef’s Table, reservations are available for up to eight guests.
Is your preferred date already fully booked? Then you can register for the waiting list. If another guest cancels or changes a booking, we will automatically contact you. At that moment, you can let us know whether you would like to take the table—the waiting list is always non-binding.
How does the waiting list work?
If it is not possible to make a reservation on your preferred date, you can register for our waiting list.
As soon as a table becomes available, all waitlist participants receive an email notification at the same time. You will only receive this email when a table opens up on the date and for the selected ticket you joined the waitlist for. Cancellations do happen regularly, but we cannot offer any guarantees. Everyone on the list has an equal chance, so responding quickly increases your chances of securing the reservation.
For how many people can I make a reservation at most?
Online reservations can be made for up to 14 guests in the restaurant, and up to eight guests at the Chef’s Table.

I have two separate reservations. Can they be combined?
Unfortunately, our system does not allow two separately made reservations to be merged automatically. If you have reserved two different tables and would like to combine them with someone else’s reservation, please email hello@noor.nl and we will be happy to assist you.
I have made a reservation but did not receive a confirmation.
If you have not received a confirmation email within 10 minutes of making your reservation, please check your spam folder. If you do not see a confirmation there either, please contact us at hello@noor.nl or by phone at +31 (0)50 700 1370.
Do I need to pay a deposit when making a reservation?
For some tickets and experiences, we require a deposit when making your reservation. This helps us reduce the risk of no shows and late cancellations and allows us to reserve your spot especially for you.
The deposit is fully refundable up to 48 hours before the start of your reservation. For cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation, the deposit is no longer refundable.
Is it possible to celebrate my wedding or another event at Noor?
Groups of 15 up to a maximum of 46 guests can be accommodated when the restaurant is booked exclusively. Different rates apply, and we work with a minimum revenue guarantee.
Although we do not host weddings or parties in a traditional format, you are very welcome to celebrate your marriage or a special occasion with a private group during an exclusive lunch or dinner.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS AND ALLERGIES
Can Noor accommodate my dietary requirements?
Our menu is created with great care. However, due to the wide variety of dietary requirements and allergies, it is not possible for us to accommodate all of them. Our small kitchen and limited logistics make it impossible to accommodate extensive adjustments for severe allergies or complex dietary requirements.
Good to know: not all combinations of dietary requirements are feasible in our kitchen.

How and when should I inform you of my dietary requirements?
You can provide all dietary requirements for yourself and your party directly when making the reservation. If this is not possible, you may still inform us up to 48 hours in advance. If someone has a dietary requirement that may not be suitable for Noor (please read here what we can accommodate), we kindly ask you to contact us before making a reservation.
If dietary requirements are communicated on site at the restaurant, a surcharge of €30 per person will apply.
Can I dine at Noor if I am allergic to fish or shellfish?
Certainly. If you are allergic to one of these products, we will adapt the menu accordingly. If you are allergic to all three, we will create a menu that is largely vegetarian.

GIFTCARDS
Can I purchase a gift voucher for a visit to Noor?
You can submit a request here for a gift voucher in a luxury gift package. We handwrite the voucher and, if desired, send it to you by post. Collection at an agreed time is also possible. A digital gift voucher by email is currently temporarily unavailable.
We offer gift vouchers exclusively in the form of a monetary amount.
What conditions apply to the gift vouchers?
- The gift voucher is valid for two years from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise.
- The gift voucher is valid exclusively at Restaurant Noor for dining purposes.
- The voucher must be used in one single transaction.
- The gift voucher is not redeemable for cash and is non-refundable.
- Cancellation or refunds are not possible after purchase.
- We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to gift vouchers.
- The original voucher or a valid digital version with a unique code must be presented upon payment.
- The gift voucher is freely transferable; however, use remains at the holder’s own risk.
- A gift voucher does not guarantee availability on a specific date or time.
- In the event of a no-show without timely cancellation, the gift voucher may be forfeited in whole or in part.
- Any attempt at forgery, misuse, or fraud will render the gift voucher immediately invalid.
- Restaurant Noor reserves the right to refuse a voucher in case of doubt regarding its authenticity.
ACCESSIBILITY
Where is Noor located?
Noor is located in Groningen, Hoogkerk, a village on the edge of the city. A quiet setting where the restaurant welcomes guests for a refined and personal experience.

Where can I park?
Parking at Noor is easy and free of charge. You may park along the street directly in front of the restaurant, or use the parking facilities at Lidl and Albert Heijn, approximately 50 to 150 metres walking distance. An electric vehicle charging station is also located about 50 metres from the restaurant.
There is no on-site bicycle storage available. However, several public bicycle racks are located nearby, where you can safely park your bike.
Where can I stay overnight?
In collaboration with The Market Hotel, we offer a complete arrangement for those who wish to combine an evening at Noor with a relaxed and luxurious stay in the centre of Groningen.
LOCATION
Is Noor accessible for wheelchair users?
Every guest is welcome with us.
Because Noor is located in a beautiful historic church, this unfortunately comes with certain spatial limitations. The pathways are narrow, the turning radius is limited, and the restaurant is situated two steps above the entrance. In addition, due to the building’s listed and monumental character, it is not possible to provide a separate wheelchair-accessible restroom.
We advise you to contact us prior to making your reservation, so that we can discuss the possibilities together and ensure the most pleasant experience possible.
Are dogs (pets) allowed?
We love animals, but we do not consider the restaurant to be a suitable place for them. We therefore kindly ask you to leave your pet at home. Assistance dogs are, of course, an exception.
Can I bring children to Noor?
Noor is an adults-oriented restaurant and is not designed for children. We therefore advise bringing children under the age of 12 only if they will enjoy the full menu and are able to respect the calm atmosphere of other guests.

Is there a dress code?
At Noor, we do not enforce a strict dress code. However, we kindly ask our guests not to wear sportswear such as tracksuits, caps, or hoodies. We encourage everyone to express their own style, while noting that most of our guests opt for a casual chic look.

What payment methods are accepted at Noor?
The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
In addition, you can pay at Noor with Maestro (debit card), cash, or with a voucher or gift card issued by Noor itself.
Please note that discount coupons, gift cards, or vouchers not issued by Noor are not accepted.
Payment by invoice after your visit is only possible if clear arrangements have been made in advance.
May I bring my own wine?
You are very welcome to bring your own wine, provided this has been arranged with us in advance and the wine is not listed on our own wine list. You may bring a maximum of two bottles of 750 ml each. A corkage fee of €75 per bottle applies.
Does Noor have air conditioning and fresh air circulation?
Yes, Noor is equipped with air conditioning. The temperature is carefully regulated and the system continuously refreshes the indoor air with fresh outdoor air, ensuring it is always comfortable and the air quality remains excellent.
