Full-time Sommelier
Job Opening: Sommelier
At Restaurant Noor, we are looking for a sommelier who understands what working at the highest level truly means. Someone who maintains oversight, brings calm to the dining room, and naturally guides guests through a complete evening. The role requires craftsmanship, but above all, the right attitude.
Ideally, you are a sommelier with strong wine knowledge who is also willing to take on maître responsibilities. You feel responsible for the whole experience, from the first welcome to the final glass. At the same time, we are very open to a (junior) sommelier with less experience, provided the fundamentals are in place. Curiosity, discipline, and the desire to grow matter more to us than a long résumé.
You are visibly present on the floor, advising guests on wine and food pairings tailored to their taste, preferences, and the menu. You safeguard the quality and consistency of the wine service, contribute to the development of the wine list, and ensure that inventory, storage, and presentation are in order. Depending on your profile, you may also take on coordinating responsibilities and provide professional guidance to one or two colleagues. You work closely with the kitchen and service team and feel jointly responsible for the overall guest experience.
What we are looking for is someone who:
– is naturally guest-focused and communicates with ease
– is well presented and moves effortlessly within a refined environment
– takes responsibility and does not settle for “good enough”
– has a genuine interest in wine, gastronomy, and developments within the profession
– is flexible and performs well under pressure
Experience and formal qualifications are welcome, but not decisive. Motivation, commitment, and a professional attitude are what ultimately make the difference for us.
We offer
– A position tailored to your experience and level
– Appropriate compensation based on role and experience
– A four-day workweek (Wednesday through Saturday)
– Working in a small, committed team that operates at top level on a daily basis
– Room for development, deepening of expertise, and knowledge sharing within the profession
If you are invited, we expect you — without any obligations on either side — to spend a day working alongside us. This allows us to truly get to know each other and see whether it feels like a good fit.
Medewerker bediening fulltime / parttime
Vacancy – Service Staff (full-time / part-time)
At Noor, everything revolves around attention. To the product, to the moment. And above all, to the guest.
We work every day at the level of a two-star restaurant. That demands a great deal. From all of us.
As a member of the service team, you are a visible part of that experience. How you enter the room. How you stand. How you speak. How you look. For you, hospitality is not about rules, but about intuition. About sensing what a table needs, often before anything is even asked.
Experience is not a requirement. A natural foundation is.
You understand how to deal with people. You take responsibility. Your presentation, attitude, and hygiene are naturally in order. You are eager to learn, sharp, and willing to become better every day. Everything you do not yet know, we can teach you. We can cover training and education — in return, we expect full commitment, loyalty, and hard work.
What we expect from you
– A natural sense of hospitality and respectful interaction with guests
– Attention to detail, discipline, and a high personal standard
– Flexibility and a willingness to work within the rhythm of a top-level restaurant
– Physical and mental resilience; peak moments are part of the job
– The desire to learn, grow, and be part of a close-knit team
What you will find with us
– Working in a restaurant that consistently operates at two-star level
– Intensive guidance and room to truly learn the profession
– Opportunities for training and deeper specialization within the field
– A small, committed team with high ambitions
– A working environment where quality always comes first
Practical details
– Full-time and part-time positions available
– Opening days: Wednesday through Saturday
– Saturday also includes lunch service
We do not consider applications that do not meet the above requirements.
If you are invited, we expect you — entirely without obligation on either side — to spend a day working alongside us. This allows you to experience how we work and to see whether it is the right fit. For you and for us.
Noor is not a stepping stone.
It is a place where you choose to give everything.
