Deposit and reservation confirmation

When making a reservation, we require a deposit. This guarantees your reservation is confirmed.

Cancellation

For groups of 1 to 12 guests, cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before your visit. Please send an email to hello@noor.nl. The full deposit will then be refunded. For cancellations made within 48 hours of your visit, we reserve the right to retain the full prepaid amount.

For groups of 13 guests or more, cancellations are free of charge up to 7 days before your visit. After this period, we reserve the right to retain 75 percent of the deposit to cover preparation costs and lost revenue.

Changing the number of guests

For groups of 1 to 12 guests, changes to the number of guests can be made up to 48 hours in advance. Please send a message to hello@noor.nl. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill on the evening itself.

For groups of 13 guests or more, changes can be made free of charge up to 7 days in advance. After this period, changes are only possible if they do not affect the minimum revenue guarantee or table occupancy.

Within 48 hours (or within 7 days for groups of 13 or more), changes are only possible if a suitable table is still available. For example, if you have booked for four guests, it is not automatically possible to come with two. In that case, an appropriate table must be available for two guests. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to retain the full prepaid amount.

No-Show

If you do not show up for your reservation without notifying us (a so-called no-show), it has a significant impact on us as a small-scale restaurant. Your table remains empty while we incur staff costs and make purchases based on your expected arrival.

A no-show is defined as not showing up without cancelling or notifying us in advance, despite having a confirmed reservation. In such cases, we reserve the right to retain the full prepaid amount.

Additionally, if you have reserved for four guests but arrive with fewer people without any prior notice, and only inform us upon arrival that one or more guests will not be attending, we also reserve the right to charge the full reservation value.

This reservation value consists of the expected revenue including service charges and VAT, based on the average arrangement rate at Noor Groningen. This means we will charge at least the full menu price for which the reservation was made.

We kindly ask for your understanding. Timely cancellations allow us to offer your table to other guests and help us avoid unnecessary waste and costs.

How do we handle cancellations?

We do our utmost to resell cancelled tables. We actively advertise available spots and handle personal circumstances with care. In addition, we keep a waiting list and reach out in case of cancellations. However, there is no guarantee that a table will be filled again.

At the same time, the responsibility for making, changing or cancelling a reservation lies with the guest. Noor Groningen cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from this.

This Agreement, as well as all Agreements resulting from it, is governed by Dutch law.
